• In 2018 we are celebrating the 100th anniversary of the creation of the independent Czechoslovakia.
• Czechoslovakia – especially its Czech provinces – was the industrial heartland of the former Austro-Hungarian Monarchy, and after its declaration of independence in 1918 it immediately became one of Europe’s most advanced industrial economies. It was a thriving and renowned centre of mechanical and electrical engineering, automotive production, military production, and the iron and steel industries.
• CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP is firmly rooted in this long and proud industrial tradition, so the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia’s independence marks a real milestone for the group’s companies. For many years, the group has been taking traditional Czech and Slovak industrial brands under its wing – including legends such as TATRA, AVIA, PRIM or ZTS – and helping them to develop, both now and in the future. The group also has a strong focus on advanced hi-tech industrial production.
