Another edition of the famous Dakar Rally has begun and the racing teams have completed the first five sharp stages. The prestigious world Rally also includes the Tatra Buggyra ZM Racing racing team, whose partners are also companies of the Czechoslovak Group holding and Tatra Trucks. The first five stages brought several interesting results to the Roudnice team.
An excellent fourth place was won in the prologue by Martin Šoltys with his Tatra 815. In the truck category, he finished in an excellent fourth place. Much more interesting results for the Tatra Buggyra ZM Racing team brought the first stage. Jaroslav Valtr Sr. took fourth place with his Tatra Phoenix. He arrived at the finish with a gap of just over 11 minutes. An even better result was achieved by the Slovak pilot in the service of the Roudnice team, Radovan Kazark. In the classic category, he took the imaginary bronze place with his Tatra Puma racing special. Another Slovak, Robert Kasák, drove the Tatra Phoenix to 22nd place in the truck category.

While in the second stage most of the competitors of the Tatra Buggyra ZM Racing team kept their positions in the overall classification, in the third stage Jaroslav Valtr senior, who took the third place, took care of the historical record. Thanks to this, he got to the top of the overall ranking in the truck category after Stage 3. Martin Šoltys took seventh place in the same category. In the overall ranking, the pilots of light prototypes Josef Macháček and only eighteen-year-old Aliyyah Kolocova also improved. It was the young pilot of the Roudnice stable who showed her qualities in the fourth stage and reached the finish in an excellent seventh place. Jaroslav Valtr senior and Martin Šoltys also placed in the top ten in the truck category in the fourth stage.
The fifth and so far the last completed stage brought 10th and 11th place for the pilots of Tatra Buggyra ZM Racing in the colors of Tatra Buggyra ZM Racing, Jaroslav Valtr Sr. and Martin Šoltys. In the overall ranking, the pilots are fifth and seventh, respectively.
Pátá, a zatím poslední ukončená etapa přinesla pro piloty závodních tatrovek v barvách Tatra Buggyra ZM Racing Jaroslava Valtra staršího a Martina Šoltyse 10. a 11. místo. V celkovém pořadí patří pilotům pátá, respektive sedmá příčka.
