The IDET 2023 fair will take place at the Brno exhibition center from May 24 to 26. The traditional exhibitors are companies of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG) holding and the Tatra Trucks company. The joint exhibition of the companies of the CSG and Tatra will present a number of exhibits in the main exhibition hall at stand No. P 038, and on the outdoor area near pavilion P and on the polygon of dynamic demonstrations. With its size and number of exhibits, the CSG and Tatra exhibition will be the largest at the fair.

Tatra Trucks, Tatra Defense Vehicle, Excalibur Army, Retia, Eldis, MSM Group, Karbox, Excalibur International and Česká letecká servisní will be presenting at the stand. "The IDET fair is the largest exhibition of defense technologies in the Czech Republic and is also a great opportunity to present products and services to representatives of the Czech army and the Czech Ministry of Defense as well as customers from Central Europe. In addition, the Czech Republic and Europe are the home regions of most of our companies, which is why IDET is a very important event for them, as evidenced by the size of our exhibition," said Radim Ochvat, director of corporate relations, communication, and marketing of the CSG holding.

Tatra Trucks will bring several vehicles of the Tatra Phoenix and Tatra Force model lines to IDET. "The main attraction of our exhibition will be the novelty presenting the Tatra Phoenix 8x8 container loader with an extended chassis and an armored cabin. Together with the company Tatra Defense Vehicle, which developed the cabin for it, we entered the vehicle in the competition for the Golden IDET," explained Alena Hegnerová, marketing director of the company. "As part of the concurrently ongoing PYROS 2023 trade fair, in a world premiere and with the participation of a number of guests and the media, we will unveil the new generation of the Tatra Force model line with a short and long cab in versions intended for the fire brigade," added Alena Hegnerová. Tatra will also demonstrate other versions of the actual Tatra Force model, which is its flagship product for the military sector, on outdoor exhibition areas and as part of dynamic demonstrations. Logistics vehicles with 4x4 and 6x6 chassis designed for the Czech army or customers in the Middle East or East Asia will be on display.

Tatra Defense Vehicle (TDV) company will exhibit at the joint CSG stand a serial version of the TITUS armored vehicle in the Fire Support Coordination Point (MKPP) version, which is intended for the Army of the Czech Republic. The first vehicles of this type have already been put into use by the Czech army. TDV will also exhibit an armored cabin for the Tatra Phoenix model series, which will be installed on the already mentioned Tatra Phoenix 8x8 container loader, which will compete for the Golden IDET award. TDV is also a manufacturer of Pandur II 8x8 armored vehicles, which serve in the Army of the Czech Republic and provide service support for them. The company is currently working on new variants of this vehicle.

The Excalibur Army company will present the newest artillery system in its portfolio – the Morana howitzer, which will have its Czech exhibition premiere in Brno. The Morana represents a completely new design with a gun in the standard caliber 155 mm NATO with a barrel length of 52 calibers. It is built on an extended Tatra 8x8 chassis, and its concept differs significantly from previous Excalibur Army designs in this category of weapon systems. On the outdoor exhibition area and during dynamic demonstrations, Excalibur Army will demonstrate the self-propelled howitzer Dita on the Tatra chassis, which is also equipped with a 155 mm cannon, but with a barrel length of 45 calibers.

"From the number of our exhibits, we nominated the Treva-30 recovery and evacuation vehicle for the Golden IDET award, vehicle is the latest achievement of our designers and technicians in the field of special and engineering vehicles. The Treva-30 uses the proven Tatra 8x8 chassis and is equipped with powerful winches and crane equipment, as well as an armored Puma cabin developed and manufactured by our company as well," informed Richard Kuběna, business director of Excalibur Army. Another special engineering vehicle that will be on display at IDET from the company's portfolio is the AM-70 EX bridge vehicle.

Richard Kuběna explained another novelty: "For the first time, we will exhibit the Patriot 4x4 armored vehicle with level 4 resistance according to STANAG intended for a customer in the Middle East. Until now, customers have requested these vehicles in lower resistances, but the example on display proves that the design of the Patriot offers wider possibilities." In addition to the Patriot, the IFV Pandur II 8x8 will also be displayed on the outdoor exhibition area. Excalibur Army cooperates with Tatra Defense Vehicle on its development and production. Excalibur Army will also present the MR-2 Viktor light air defense vehicle, which is mounted on a Toyota Hilux chassis and has found its application in Ukraine. The exhibits will also include the SDO-4 decontamination container and the tank workshop container for T-72 tanks on the Tatra chassis.

The combination of these active elements forms an assembly that we commercially refer to as RPL-2000," explained the company's commercial director Filip Vogel. Eldis will also present an air traffic management software system called ERDIS. The ČLS company will present its services and projects in the field of sales, integration and modernization of avionics systems as well as special equipment or supplies of spare parts for civil, military and police or rescue aircraft or helicopters.
