Czechoslovak Group sends humanitarian aid to earthquake-affected Türkiye

CSR
Today (17 March 2023), a truck carrying humanitarian aid for regions affected by the devastating earthquake in early February left Přelouč for Türkiye. The shipment includes dozens of beds, hundreds of medical cots, food parcels, and clothing. The specific form of the aid was negotiated at the beginning of March by Turkish Ambassador H.E. Mr. Egemen Bagis, together with Michaela Katolická and Radim Ochvat from CSG.

Türkiye was hit by two devastating earthquakes on 6 February. By early March, more than 11,000 aftershocks had been recorded. The most affected areas were the districts of Pazarcık and Elbistan in Kahramanmaraş province. The provinces of Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Adana, Adıyaman, Osmaniye, Hatay, Kilis, Malatya, and Elazığ were not spared from the earthquakes. Czech firefighters from the USAR team also provided assistance in the affected areas, and we are very grateful to them for their deployment! Like them, CSG Holding also strives to help where natural disasters have occurred - we have assisted, for example, during the fire in Czech Switzerland and after the tornado in South Moravia.
