Defence industry professionals from all around the world have finally had the opportunity to check out the new DITA howitzer produced by the Czech EXCALIBUR ARMY company. The howitzer was for the first time presented at the IDEX 2021 exhibition in Abu Dhabi (UAE), and it has gained a lot of attention. Also, other companies of the CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP holding have succeeded in showcasing their new products. Patriot II 4x4 and Tatra Force 8x8 vehicles were among the ones that attracted most attention.
The DITA howitzer demonstrator was presented by representatives of EXCALIBUR ARMY and TATRA TRUCKS directly to the highest political and military representatives of the UAE. The DITA wheeled cannon howitzer is the only Czech-made howitzer that uses NATO ammunition.
EXCALIBUR ARMY has also brought home a contract with the Indonesian company PT REPUBLIK DEFENSINDO for the joint production of RM-70 Vampire rocket launchers in Indonesia.
Other news and key products of CSG companies also scored points at the prestigious exhibition, which was attended by a total of over 62,000 people. The Patriot II 4x4 armored vehicle on the Tatra chassis and the Tatra Force 8x8 vehicle designed to transport large and heavy cargo gained attention of both the business partners and the media.
The Slovak holding company MSM GROUP also reports success, presenting a whole range of its modern medium-caliber and large-caliber ammunition for artillery systems, tanks, and mortars at the exhibition.
